Facilities At The Kota Kinabalu Courts Complex

COURT SERVICES AND PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE (COSPIC)

COSPIC is located at Level 1 (Lobby level) and functions as one-stop centre to assist self-represented litigants with filing of their cases in court.

PUBLIC CAR PARK

There are front and rear parking lots with 160 parking spaces for cars and 24 spaces for motorcycle available at the Courts Complex.

DISABLED PARKING BAYS

The disable parking bays are located near the court entrance. These parking bays are clearly marked for use by disabled people by both signs and road markings. Wheelchair is also available for use inside the court complex.

PUBLIC TOILET

Public toilets are available at Level 1, 2 and 3 inside the Court Complex.

DISABLED TOILETS

Toilets for the disabled are available at level 1(right wing) and level 2 (left wing).

CAFETERIA

Cafeteria is located at level 1 and operates on weekdays from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

READING CORNER

Public Reading Corner is located inside the cafeteria. Other reading corners are available for court staff at the registries and sections at all levels.

MUSLIM PRAYER ROOM

Muslim prayer room (both male and female sections) is located at level 1 near the cafeteria.

LIBRARY

Library is located at level 5. There are more than 10,000 collection of books, articles, journals, Federal and State Statutes, Annual Reports and many others. The library is open for members of the public.

Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays: Closed

THE SABAH AND SARAWAK JUDICIAL MUSEUM

The Judicial Museum, located at level five of the courthouse, is open to public from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm. The Museum houses several panel boards of information on judicial and legal history in Sabah and Sarawak, legal artifacts and judicial attire worn by judges during special ceremony and court proceedings.

BOOKSTORE

The bookstore known as Joshua Legal Art Gallery is located at level 1 near the cafeteria and is operated by a third party. It sells law books, statutes as well as souvenirs and collectibles. The bookstore operates on weekdays only from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

BANK SELF-SERVICE TERIMINAL (ATM & CDM)

This ATM & CDM facility is provided by Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad for payment of court fees and located at level 1 near the payment counter. It can also be used for cash withdrawal.
